🍓Strawberry Patch Update – July 23rd, 2019

Hi berry lovers. We just want to let you know that we’re into our third week of picking here, and for a third week picking is still pretty good… way better than most other years. So don’t miss out!

These are our remaining days of strawberry picking:

Today, Wed & Thurs, 9am-8pm

Fri, Sat, 9am-4pm

We still have lots of maple syrup available.

Peas are finished.

Produce is late… maybe mid August.

I live in goulais and visit your farm frequently. I work at Thrive Child Development Center were we planted a small garden, however it did not do so great. I was wondering if I could buy a couple of cucumber plants to transplant in our garden?

Chris says all the gardens are slow and behind this year so to be patient. He said you could try to transplant a plant, but he doesn’t think cukes do very well transplanted. Our produce is a good two weeks behind, so perhaps that’s what you are experiencing as well. Cold nights are slowing things down considerably.
